Omakase Formality Meets Izakaya Fun

LONG JOURNEYS TASTE BETTER
From the fish markets of Tokyo to the Great Plains of Oklahoma, you are at the center of every journey. Whether you sit at the bar for sake bombs, a table for obaachan (grandmother) levels of service, or the seats at our counter where every cut happens inches away, we invite you to taste the difference.
Before everyone else
Private events, limited releases, tables that don’t stay available long...You should hear about it first.
"THE HEAVIER THE DOOR THE MORE THAT COULD BE ON THE OTHER SIDE"

FOOD
Every dish is a chance to change your mind about fish, or about what seafood can be in Oklahoma, or about how far a single bite can take you. See the whole menu.

DRINKS
From loud Tokyo watering holes to quiet Kyoto nights, our bar program is built on sake, whisky, matcha, and tea.

EVENTS
You might catch a bite directly from the fish as we break down an entire 200 pound tuna with a sword, or you could sit with the fanciest silverware placements at a once-only wine pairing. The details are always changing, but the seats never last. Save your spot at our next event.
Visiting
Do I need a reservation?
Recommended, especially for parties of more than four, or on weekends and event nights. Walk-ins are always welcome as space allows, and we will do our best to accommodate.
Where should I park?
Anywhere within the commercial areas of Wheeler District is a great option, as we are a short walk. For disability parking, there are street spaces to the north, between our restaurant and Taco Nation. There is also parking behind the building to the south with sidewalk access.
How do I know when events are happening?
Follow us on social media or sign up for email updates. Many of our events are limited seating and announced in advance.
What kinds of events do you host?
We host rotating experiences like tuna cutting shows, wine dinners, and seasonal menus. They change often and tend to fill quickly. We also rent our PDR for private events and offer off-site catering.
Should I visit for special occasions or a casual dinner?
Both. You may enjoy a full multi-course experience, or sit at the bar for bite. We also embrace a noisy, party-like atmosphere at the end of the night.
Where should I sit for the best experience?
The sushi bar if you want to see our kitchen at work. A table if you’re settling in for a longer dinner. The PDR if you want an intimate experience for your guests. The bar if you want banter, drinks, and small plates.
Ordering
I don’t usually eat sushi. What should I order?
We have delicious non-seafood options. Though if you are feeling adventurous, start with a roll or something lightly cooked, then add a few pieces of nigiri. Our team will guide you based on what you like. Or spend time with our guided menu before your visit.
What is omakase, and should I try it?
Omakase means, “Leave it to us.” You’ll get a progression of Chef's choice that night. If you want to experience the kitchen at its peak, this is it.
Do you have options for non-fish eaters?
Yes. We offer cooked dishes, wagyu, and vegetarian options.
